It's pretty well documented that Bob definitely has the shit end of the workload on these comics. A strip that takes me minutes to write takes him days to finish, which generally gives me plenty of time to point at him and laugh. So you can imagine his reaction when I sent this week's strip, nothing but the character's internal dialogue, and a little note that said "bob walking through the strip mall. This is all pretty much internal dialogue, so it's up to you to break it up into panels and make some interesting backgrounds and shit." He actually did a real good job, in my opinion at least. Just don't tell him or he'll start walking around thinking he's the shit or something.

On a sad note, another good comic has closed down.

I'm sure that you've heard it by now, but it looks like the RIAA lawsuit campaign has begun. The first evil offender is a 12 year old girl. Luckily, the RIAA has a heart of gold, and is letting her off the hook by making her mother (a single parent living in public housing, mind you) pay a mere $2,000. A Group of six P2P websites has agreed to pay the fine for her. Does the RIAA have a public relations department? And if they do, don't you think it's about time to fire them?

In a related note, the Electronic Frontier Foundation warns that the RIAA's amnesty program is, in so many words, bullshit.

Then there's this shit. Look, I'm not gonna get into this again, but let me just say that if playing a video game drives your kid to take a shotgun to passing cars, then you might just have to consider the possibility that your kid is fuckin stupid. Besides, why is all the attention focused on the fact that they played GTA3, and not on the fact that two teenage boys had FUCKING SHOTGUNS. And also, lets point out the fact that GTA3 is rated M for mature, (violence, blood, strong language) has a description on the box that includes "You'll have to rob, steal and kill just to stay out of serious trouble", AND that the fuckin title of the game has the words "GRAND THEFT AUTO" in it. So if your kid is that impressionable, maybe do a little investigating (starting with the clues mentioned above) and don't let him play the damn game.

And finally, Best. Pic. Ever. See you next week.

First thing to mention is this comic. Now, technically, I suppose it's one of those dreaded sprite comics. But conisdering there's only really one sprite ever, it should lose points for that as well. But here's the thing. The sprite is HENRY ROLLINS. Well, Henry's head, anyhow. And the writing? It's in Haiku. That's right; FLoating Henry Rollins Head Haiku. I am not making that up. Check it out for yourself, there's some really funny stuff in there.

So, Amanda and I finally went and saw Pirates of the Caribbean. Great movie. Johnny Depp is the man. Every time he's not in a scene, it's not as good as the last one he was in. I was a bit skeptical about Disney making a ride into a movie again after the Country Bears, but it was well worth it. Of course, a trailer that was shown was for the next Disney flick: The Haunted Mansion. Starring Eddie Murphy. I know, I know. It looks decent though. But I can't help but feel it would have been much better if they made it ten years ago with Bill Cosby in the lead instead of Eddie Murphy. Course, I may be a bit biased. Outside of the Simpsons, the Cosby Show is probably my favorite show on TV. I watch it at least twice a day, and it always makes me laugh. Check out any Bill Cosby standup you can get your hands on...they're all awesome.s

Well, that was an awful long paragraph. I'll leave you with this.
