Posted by Steve on June 20, 2003: Well, this is it. The moment you've both been waiting for. The new manager is finally revealed here. Go ahead and check it out now, before you read the rest of this post, because there's some spoilers below.
Seriously, go check out the comic first, I'll wait.
Last warning. Spoilers below.
Anyway, the guy in the green shirt is supposed to be Jason from Game Rave, in case you didn't figure that out on your own. Bob said that Jason's hair style didn't work with Bob's style (or some weird artist mumbo jumbo like that. Sometimes I kind of tune him out.) so I just figured I'd point that out. He's actually there because we learned that a friend was positive that Jason was the new manager, so we threw him in there just to throw her off. (yeah, we're pricks like that)
Speaking of the new character, let me assure you that there's nothing more pathetisad than two dorks (in this case, me and Bob) trying to figure out what a female comic character dresses like. It seemed like everything we tried ended up in disaster, including a specific instance where a basic dress and sweater looking thing transformed into a schoolgirl outfit when Bob sketched it out. Anyway, with the way Bob is always fooling around with the character looks, I wouldn't be surprised if it changed about a million times, so I guess it doesn't matter.
From the "was this loon actually elected?" department, there's this. UPDATE: Now check this shit out.
In other news, there's this. You know, the fucked up part isn't that she did it, it's that she said she "did nothing wrong and does not feel she put her daughter in excessive danger". I think that's about all I can handle. See you next week.

Posted by Bob on June 20, 2003: Hey guys. This comic shows how much I like those "Circus poster" type of backgrounds. What can I say, I'm like a child; big on bright colors and shiny things.
I saw a commercial for this the other night on Comedy Central at like, 3 in the morning. At first, I didn't think it could be real, but I looked it up online and there it was. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find the commercial, but trust me, it is one of the most unintentionally funny things I have ever seen. You've got people dancing to Karma Chameleon, old people reacting to it, teenagers making complete FOOLS of themselves, heck, even Boy George shows up to pimp this thing. He's got a hat with some weird eye painted on it, and his face is half silver. So take my word when I say drink lots of coffee and stay up all night with Comedy Central on. You won't regret it.
I started up a Live Journal the other day. Well, technically, it's a Dead Journal, but you know what I mean. I can't promise it will be interesting or funny or anything, but hey, it's there. Sounds like me! "I can't promise I'm interesting or funny or anything, but, what the heck. I'm here."
So, I heard "OPP" by Naughy by Nature, and it got stuck in my head all day. So when I got online to talk to Steve, I asked him what OPP was, and he didn't know either. So, this following link is provided by Steve. It's pretty funny. Check it out.
Well, that's all I got. See ya's soon.
