 Posted by Bob on June 6, 2003: Hey gang. You may notice in the comic this week that Joe has a bit of a different look from when we saw him last. The main reason for this is because I have never been able to draw him consistently to a point where I was happy with it, so I changed his hair and his nose.
Eagle eyed viewers will also note that the counter has a bit of a different look. The old red cd shelves have been replaced with a spiffy new glass video game case! No real big explanation there, I just never liked the boring old shelves as they were. And seeing as it's a virtual store we're dealing with, I can renovate it really easily.
My confusion over Matrix Reloaded has led me to a message board that has some good info on it, if anyone is interested. Thanks for the email, bro!
Speaking of the Matrix, I picked up The Animatrix on DVD. Kinda like the Final Fantasy flick, good look, not much beyond that. The Final Flight of the Osiris short is worth the price alone, though.
You may remember that when I was talking about X-Men 2 a little while back I mentioned I wanted to read "God Loves, Man Kills." Well, I couldn't find it ANYWHERE, but I eventually came across it in a comic book newsgroup. I have it downloaded, sitting here on my hard drive, waiting for me to read it, and I'll mention it here when I do. Hopefully it'll explain the whole Jason Stryker thing. I also picked up book one of "The Leauge of Extraordinary Gentlemen," as I want to know what's up with it before I see the movie. It's supposed to be really good, and my art teacher gave it good reviews, so we shall see what comes of that.
Well, I had only intended to jump on here and mention Joe's new look, and seeing as I have done more than that, I'll sign off until next week.
