posted by StevePosted by Steve on December 6, 2002: It's that time again. I mean really, is there even a band anymore? Aren't we all pretty much in agreement that it's the Gwen show at this point? i mean, I'm fine with that, don't get me wrong. I'm just saying lets all be honest with each other.

Apparently someone beat the piss out of Liam Gallagher. (Of glorified Beatles tribute band "Oasis" fame.)

It looks like The Doors reunion tour has been postponed due to the fact that the drummer (not the original drummer, mind you) broke his arm. That, and the fact that someone reminded Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger that Jim Morrison is, you know, dead. Really though, they should probably take that as a sign and just call the whole thing off. Did you know that the Doors put out two albums after Jim Morrison died? Never heard of them? Exactly.

Quick note: not only do I still have one of these, but it still works. Read the whole thing here.

Homework for this week is to pick up Superunknown by Soundgarden. See you next week.

First of all, I updated the cast page on the Characters page to the left. I was sick of seeing that low quality grainy image on there, so I figured now was as good a time as any to rework it. Secondly, we've had a bunch of new users in the forum, which leads me to believe we've been getting new viewers. So, I'd like to say welcome aboard to all the new viewers out there! We hope you really enjoy our little strip here...It's really fun for Steve and I, and I hope it shows in our work.

So I see Steve has given you homework over the past couple of updates with albums and all that. Now, that makes sense, seeing as our strip centers on a record store. Well, I've never been one to promote albums...I prefer single songs. Take for example my iPod. 700 songs, and the only complete albums are by Rage Against the Machine, Nirvana and Sevendust. So, while I may not be able to give you in depth reviews on whole albums, I can promote single songs. So, your homework, as Steve might say, is to go and download the song "Centre of the Storm" from the album "In the Mode" by Roni Size and Reprazent, and it features Zack De La Rocha of the late almighty Rage Against the Machine. See y'all soon!
