See, this is what I just don't understand about internet users. Now, I like to think we put up some fairly good content here, and yet our forum has a big fat 17 members. And yet all those cats get together and create 14 pages worth of posts to debate whether or not Metroid Prime is a first person shooter or not. Now, had they just asked me, I could have explained the obvious, of course it's a first person shooter. Yes, it has different controls than a normal first person shooter. Yes, it has a lot more exploration than most first person shooters. Yes, it's not as much of a fragfest as most first person shooters. But it's still a first person shooter. it just happens to be a really good first person shooter.
While we're on the subject, you guys really really really need to check out Metroid Prime. It's easily the best game I've played in a long time. I'd write a review, if I wasn't too damned lazy. Maybe next week. (Not likely, but it's not impossible or anything.)
By the way, for anyone who hasn't figured it out, we update on Fridays. It's been brought to my attention that we should, you know, say that somewhere, so there ya go.
