Posted by Steve on November 15, 2002: So, the current arc finally concludes with this week's strip. Bob and I both thought this was a really fun arc, so we hope you all liked it.
Few things of note. For starters, this comic is our little salute to the famous Duck Amuck cartoon. Now, I'm just going to go ahead and assume you've all seen this famous and oh so funny cartoon, and if you haven't, you should be ashamed of yourself.
The other thing to note is that the animator in the last panel is none other than Nathan/Zach/Squid from No Pants Tuesday. Not only does he run a very good comic, but he also links to us and plugs us in his newspost. Also, we made an appearance in one of his strips, so we figured we owed him one.
Alright, now for some links. I'm sure most of you have heard this by now, but it appears that Stan Lee has filed a lawsuit against Marvel. It seems $400 milliion isn't considered "profit".
Thought this was pretty interesting. I think a friend of mine summed the whole thing up perfectly when he said "you know, all this shit could be avoided if people on both sides of the fence took a little responsibility."
When they say "don't try this at home", that includes you. Seriously, how high would you have to be before lighting yourself on fire started to sound like a good idea?
Alright, I think that's about enough for this week. Your homework assignment is to go pick up a copy of the new album by Queens of the Stone Age. Not only is it really good, it's pretty cheap just about everywhere I've seen it. See you all next week.
Alright. I think that's about it for this week. See you next time.
