I came up with the idea for this one when Steve and I were talking about losing interest in games lately. Maybe we're getting older. Maybe we have better things to do. But more than likely it's the fact that things all seem the same anymore. It doesn't seem like we're playing anything new lately. I do have a Wii now, and admittedly that has got me interested. I know Steve's not all about the Wii, but pretty much everyone in my family has had a blast playing Wii Sports.
I got Trauma Center for Christmas, and that's pretty fun so far. I was gonna pick it up for the DS, but when I heard it was coming out for the Wii, I figured I might as well just wait for that one.
Oh, and you may notice that Bob and Steve are in the back of the store, looking at video games on the shelf on the back wall. You may also notice that the counter in the store has a glass case behind it that is filled with video games. See, the reasoning behind this is the same as Gamestop or EB. The shelf is filled with empty cases, and the real games are in the glass case. So the games live there, DVDs are on the wall shelf dealie under the TV, and all the rest of the shelves hold cds. And that's the layout of Relentless Records. Well, as of now. I have to imagine that the archives don't exactly match up to that, heh.
So, apparently this guy is taking Ocarina of Time and redoing it as a 2D game, ala A Link to the Past. Looks pretty cool. Seems like it's almost done, so it might be worth keeping your eyes open on that. Dunno if it'll play in an emulator or if it'll be a standalone game, but it seems like it'll be worth checking out when it's finished.
I found this list of the top ten "Hottest girl gamers who are actually gamers" list, and I gotta tell ya, it kind of pisses me off. Who cares if you're good looking and play games? Do you think we'll ever see a "top ten hottest guy gamers" list? Hell no. See, women aren't supposed to play games, so if you do and you're hot, well then we have to assume you're better than anyone who isn't hot, by god! Ugh. I hate shit like that.
