posted by BobPosted by Bob on October 13, 2006: Today's comic is up as always. We wouldn't leave you hanging. We finally solved the riddle of Steve being in school. Hooray! Since this is a Steve comic through and through, I'll let him talk to you about the whole school experience. I was a teenager in college, so I didn't have that problem of hating teenagers. I got along well with pretty much everybody.

So, I went back to the cut style of shading in this week's comic. Last week's didn't look right to me...Everybody looked kinda dirty. I'm going to practice with Painter a bit when I have some free time, and maybe somewhere down the line I'll be able to do it that way. For now, I'm quite happy with this method.

Here's an interesting article on why you should do a 365 days, 365 photos project. It seems kind of neat, and I think I may do that sometime. It'll all be pictures of my room and work, but hey, it might be fun to try.

Here's the best Halloween costume ever! I wonder why they didn't make the triangle ship? You could have a giant battle on the way to getting candy! Well, I guess you'd have to throw rocks at the asteroid, but what the hell, right? Your costume would suck, but at least you'd get to hit someone with a rock.

So, not only does the PS3 cost a ton, it will even come bundled with shitty cables. Pretty awesome for a company that's been banking their system on "YOU NEED AN HDTV FOR YOUR PS3!" so much. *looks at my 360* Way to go Microsoft. You outclassed the PS3 even with the damn cables.

And speaking of the PS3, it seems that Gamestop is using them to break up families. Cause yes, I'm sure those three brothers are happy they're getting one system, but You gotta wonder how they're gonna solve the problem of who gets it. Fist fights? Races around the world? It's one of those things I have a feeling will end in blood and tears and broken dreams.

Here's a really neat game called Draw Play. You have to draw lines with the mouse for your little guy to walk along, and then guide him to the flag at the end of the level. I played through a few levels, it's pretty fun.

I found a cool music site. It looks like there's tons of stuff up there for download. You can rate the music too, so you can see if it's worth downloading before you take the time. Very neat looking, I've got it bookmarked right now for when I get home from work. Which, coincidentally, is where I need to go right now. So I'll see you fine folks back here in a week.

I know Bob kind of prompted me to talk about school a bit, but there's really not much to say. I try to keep my head down and do my thing. I avoid the cafeteria and other "problem areas" where groups of kids are prone to gather. (There's one cat that's always in the cafeteria. I'm not entirely sure he even goes to class.) There's a stunning lack of motivation in a lot of the other students in some of my classes though. You'd think that, on your second or third attempt at passing a course, you'd give it some extra effort, but apparently not so much.

That's all I've got. See you next week.
