Posted by Bob on October 6, 2006: So, today's comic came about right around the time Steve sent me the script for this one. He sent me the updated script file and said "We have a comic for this week." So I read it and said to him, "I like the comic, but we've never actually said in the comic that Steve goes to school. For anyone who doesn't read the newspost, this is gonna be a strange jump." He goes silent for a minute and replies "...damn you and your logic. You shall rue this day. Well, now we dont have a comic for thursday, mr smartypants." So I told him we could just run the Robo Boy comic and explain that Steve's in school in a later comic. I think of it as like, the start of a new chapter. It starts in a location you're not terribly familiar with, and it gets explained later.
At least, that's what I say afterward, so it looks like we're fucking brilliant when we're really just covering our asses. Not that we've ever done that here before at Think Tank HQ.
Heh, Gamestop and EB hate the PS3. Well, either that or Sony doesn't bribe well enough. Could be either one. But it looks like the whole thing is not going to go well. I think that's been pretty obvious from the start.
Good lord, who thought that this was a good idea? That thing just looks awful and uncomfortable.
I've already started my Christmas list. Number one on said list? Why, the DVD rewinder, of course. I always hate it when I pull a DVD out of it's case and it's not rewound. It's such a pain in the ass to get it ready. But with this? I think I could manage.
Most of the time, you want to be nice and courteous. Law abiding and helpful. But sometimes, just sometimes, you just have to push the cops into the river. I understand. It happens.
Here's a video of a guy ruining Harry Potter for a big group of people waiting in front of a Barnes and Noble. I just love the "NOOOOOOOO! You bitch!" at the end.
Aww man! No one here at Think Tank HQ has a name within the top 20 whitest or blackest names. I can't believe that people are actually paid to do studies on this shit.
How about some videos? I've got a few to show you. First, we have a dramatic reenactment of Mark Foley's IM conversations with a 16 YEAR OLD BOY as brought to you by Cracked, via YouTube. What a douchebag. Have you noticed how Fox News keeps listing this guy as a Democrat even though he's a Republican? What an awful channel that is. But that's a story for another day. Right now we're talking videos. Here's one about someone asking directions. I'd love to do that to someone, but I think I'd just end up laughing to hard. But in the end, I think it'd make me feel great. And here's the goofiest thing you'll see today: The Bollywood version of Thriller. God damn I love YouTube.
And that's that. I'm out of links. Except for this one, just for you Steve. I'm sure you're gonna love it. Back in a week, folks.
