posted by BobPosted by Bob on September 22, 2006: Hey guys. This whole week has been kind of hectic, so today's comic is back to the old fashioned Photoshop lettering. The script wasn't finalized until about ten minutes before this writing, so that's really the only way I could get this thing done on time.

But yes, this is the type of thing Steve puts up with in school. Money well spent, I'd say! I have to imagine he has more to say on the subject, so I'll leave that one to him. I'd just like to say that this comic is proof positive as to why I'm the resident artist here. That is actual Steve Zabelka artwork folks. I gotta say, I'd still love to see him try to draw Bob or Link.

I can't imagine how long it took to make this. For those who don't feel like clicking the link, someone took a bunch of George Bush speeches and pieced certain words together so he sings "Sunday Bloody Sunday." Pretty cool stuff.

Another GW link? Why the hell not. It's an edited state of the union address, and it made me laugh too.

In honor of the new Jackass movie coming out...whenever the hell it's coming out, here's a Jackass in flight. There's some blood at the end, so be careful if you're squeamish..

Well, sorry to cut it so short, but Steve's got school in a few hours and he's waiting on my newspost so he can update the site and go to sleep. So I'll just call it here. Back in a week!

They assume your knowledge of computers is somewhere around "Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer." The lecture in the comic was an actual lecture. It's a horrible way to spend 4 hours a week. And it's a required course.

To pass the time in classes like this, talented people like Bob would probably draw something cool.

I can't draw. Hence, Robo Boy.

That's the way I drew people in like 4th grade, and my skills never really evolved past that. Maybe I should just use the lecture hours as script writing time.

We once again did this comic using the Marvel Method. I gave Bob the rough idea of what the comic was going to be, he drew it up, then we filled in the dialogue. If anyone out there has a webcomic and is an artist/writer team, I highly recommend giving it a shot. It's a lot of fun and, from a writing point of view, it can be a great help in busting out of a writing funk. See you next week.
