 Posted by Bob on June 16, 2006: Hey all. Last week, I was all alone, and I updated the comic all on my own, no problem whatsoever. I updated it really early in the day just in case I screwed something up really badly, so I'd have time to fix it. Bolstered by my HTML success, I got cocky. So today, I figured I'd update the site after work. So I get home at around 10:30, and what do I see? The dreaded blinking lights on the modem. Dead connection. Fucking Comcast. It took a few hours, but my connection is back, and the comic is posted. I didn't really realize it when I read the script, but this may be the most cruel Jessie has ever been in a comic. But I balanced it out by making her adoreable in panel seven, so it evens out in the end, I suppose.
Oh, I didn't intend for Bob and Jessie's shirts to be so similar in color. I actually came up with that design for Jessie like, a month and a half ago. When we brought Bob back into the comic, I thought he should have a new shirt, so I ended up using blue, because I have a blue Superman shirt, and I look damn good in blue.
I don't have a very good connection at present, so the links this week may be kind of thin. That being said, we'll start with a countdown! The eleven most groundbreaking controllers of all time. I wonder why they decide on specific numbers like eleven.
In keeping with the game theme, I suppose I'll follow that up with great ideas that have changed gaming forever.
Bwahahahaa... The cat spends more money on a car than I'll make in my life and the damn thing is just scrap metal and he can't get things set right again. Kinda deserves it, I think. I mean really, 1.7 million dollars for a car? Sweet shit. That's just waaaaaay too extravagant.
Here's some shots from X-Men 3 showing how they de-aged McClellan and Stewart in the opening scene. If only they could have done something to make it, you know, NOT suck. Superman is coming up in a couple weeks, and I'm really looking foward to that. I just wish it was a new movie and not a tail tied to an old kite, you know?
