posted by BobPosted by Bob on June 9, 2006: Hey gang. The new comic is up. Well, I hope it's up. I'm no good with HTML, and Steve has left this task in my hands, since he's out of town. I have everything laid out in front of me pretty well, so this should be ok. I even found a mistake that I had to fix! See, I know what I'm doing! Anyhow, the comic. We get to see the rarely seen wall where the counter is, but further down in the store. Oooooh, exciting, I know. All that's there is more cd shelves, but I usually don't have the characters over there. Why? I don't know, they generally just live at the counter. Probably cause it's where the TV is. That's where I'd stay.

Today's comic is also up reaaaaaaally early because A. my internet connection has been shit this last week, so I wanted to make sure it got uploaded while the modem lights weren't blinking, and B. in case I've screwed something up, I've got plenty of time to fix it.

All right, onto the links. Here's a countdown of the top 25 rejected movie roles. I knew about some of these, but a few were surprising. Tupac in Forrest Gump? Stallone in Star Wars? I want to see these! Actually, that whole site is pretty good and worth taking a look at..

So in other words, it's not bad to be smart nowadays. I hate the fact that smart people get ridiculed for being smart. And then ignorant people are content being ignorant. I can't tell you how many people I hear say "I don't even know how to turn a computer on," and then laugh like it's a good thing. Well, how about this, FUCKING LEARN. It's not hard, you press one god damn button.

Cool, Wii's Virtual Console will offer games on the cheap.. I think if they had sold the games at say, 30 bucks like they do when they release classic games for the Game Boy, it wouldn't be as big a success. 30 dollars for a game you can't hold in your hands is rough, but 10 is a good price. Although, the 360 has good games for cheap to download, and I haven't gotten one damn game besides demos. We shall see.

Oh, and in other news, is really a surprise? Nintendo really seems to know what they're doing this time around.

Since Steve is not here this week, I will post this link to freak him out wherever he is now. I'm a prick like that.

If anyone is interested, I came across this guy's journal , where he shows all these cool free tv over the internet sites. Worth checking out if you're into that sort of thing. Here's another good site with a bunch of TV shows available on YouTube.

Looks like the link well has run dry, so I'm outta here to watch some You Can't Do That on Television. I hope it's as funny as I remember it being.

Either Bob has successfully managed to upload a few files, or everything has gone to hell. If it's the latter, please hang in there until Saturday night, when I'll be back to fix everything. If he's actually mananged to successfully update the site, feel free to send him a little emailed pat on the back. Things like this are challenging for our hero. That's all for now. Back in a week.
