Fill in the Blanks

Posted by Bob on May 26, 2006: As long time readers know, Steve has a hard time keeping up with my output. He'll send me a comic, and within two days, he has the finished comic sitting on his hard drive. Recently, he sent me (I want to say) three comics, and I had them all done within three days. So this leaves me with free time. We had always talked about me just drawing some shit and then seeing what Steve could write to match it up. Today's comic is such an example. Yes, the mysterious back door in the store has finally been revealed! I don't think we've ever shown what was back there. Although to be fair, we really don't show it this comic. It's just explained. Will we see more next week? You'll just have to come back and find out!

Yay kids, I'm a tease! I hope it's enticing enough...

I really hate to have to link to something from FHM, but as a Mythbusters devotee, I have to. What is it, you ask? How about a Kari Byron photoshoot? Yeah, I thought that'd get you to look. You dirty bastards. We all know she's mine anyway. I'm sure she's into guys who draw webcomics and already have a girlfriend.

Wow, some people have wayyy too much time on their hands. Good thing it produces something awesome! I wonder how hard that cat cries when someone needs a pushpin.

So, maybe the Wii won't work as well if there's halogen lights around. Even though people can, you know, turn off the light, you get the feeling that when this gets more widely reported, more people will say "Well, you can't play it with lights on, I won't buy one now?" Sigh. I hate console launches.

See, video games are very good for people. Now we can even say "They might just save your life!" Fantastic, heh.

I don't think I've linked to a countdown lately, so how about the top ten weirdest do it yourself gadgets? They may be strange, but they're kinda cool. I'd love to have a powerglove mouse. The cd lamp is kinda cool too.

All right gang, hate to cut it this short, but I'm writing this a day early, cause tomorrow night I'm gonna be at a midnight showing of X-Men 3. So, I won't actually be here when the site updates. I expect Steve to pick on me in some form, but whatever, I'm seeing X-Men, so fuck it. Anyhow, be back in a week, gang.

Posted by Steve on May 26, 2006: Hello and welcome to the "slightly early because Steve's gotta work all day tomorrow" edition of Think Tank. This was kind of a neat comic to do. One day last week Bob, already done with the three comics I had already sent him, just sent me over a fully drawn/colored/whatever else it takes to make a comic, and basically told me to write some dialogue. He told me the general idea was "Joe has to clean the back room" and that was about it. We had talked about trying something like that before, and I guess he was finally bored enough to try it. I think it turned out pretty well, and it was easier than I thought it'd be. It's something that I imagine we'll end up doing again at some point.
