Posted by Steve on March 31, 2006: If you're here for a new comic, we've got your hookup right here.
Of course, when I say "we" I mean "I", since Bob is currently out of town. I don't know where, for what, or how long. All I know is that he's not here to bug me for new scripts, so I'm happy.
While I'm shocked to admit it, I think I'm ready to give MLB 06 a thumbs up. It's got it's rough spots, but I'm hooked on career mode. I guess a lot of people say it's not real different from last year, so I guess you should watch for that if you're already a fan of the series. But if you're like me and didn't play last year's game, it's worth at least a rental. I'll still end up getting 2K6 though, assuming they ever release it, because I'm that much of a baseball whore.
Every time I play Metal Gear Solid 2, I go back and read this. It's just Jason at his best. (NOTE: HUGE Metal Gear 2 spoilers. You've been warned.)
I've known Jason for a few years now, and I'm convinced there's not a gaming question you can ask him that he doesn't have an answer for. And I'm not talking "I'll check that out and get back to you." You ask him the question, no matter how obscure, and he's got the answer in some mental file cabinet.
Speaking of Metal Gear, this is just fucking crazy. I don't think the cat stops moving the whole time. He shoots guards that aren't even on the screen yet. It's amazing to watch, especially considering he's playing on European Extreme. Also, that whole site is worth checking out. It's got crazy runs like that for all kinds of games.
Well, I think that's a decent sized newspost, especially considering the paragraph I'm usually good for, so I'm gonna wrap this up. If you're just here for Bob's video's of people hurting themselves, I'm afraid you'll have to wait until next week. See you then.
