Posted by Bob on March 24, 2006: New comic is up. I'm a little bothered by the word placement in this one, I think it blocks off too much of the artwork, which I really don't like to do. We'll blame writer boy for that one. I started bringing more black into the comic as of last week, but there wasn't much where it would be obvious in that one. It's a little more obvious here I think. I have never been good at spotting blacks for a page, and I figured the only way to learn is to just do it, right? Right.
Of course, if you've been following my art posts at my Livejournal the darker comics wouldn't come as a surprise at all. I want to be able to have shadows on characters faces, but I can never get it to look the way I want to, and I end up doing it with color. I think that's the next evolution in Think Tank; more shadows on the characters, shadows on the faces and then eventually more in the backgrounds. We shall see what comes of it.
After reading this, I think I should try to sell even less Vonage stuff at work then I did before. Oh, who am I kidding. Nobody wants that shit.
It looks like the Revolution might now be the Nintendo Go. Well, maybe. We really don't know. So in other words, NIntendo wrote the word "Go" on a brochure and nobody knows why.
More video game news- the PS3 controller is gonna be redesigned. I'm really kind of upset with this, cause I liked the batarang design. I had an old PSX controller that looked just like that and it worked fantastic. One thing's for sure though; I really like that ball controller design. That could be interesting.
Let's celebrate eight years of development for Duke Nukem Forever. Eight years, man. It's fucking Duke Nukem. It's no where near worth that kind of wait. But to be fair, that second trailer from 2001 actually looked pretty good. I'd buy it if it came out, I think.
Here's a neat site that generates a flash video depending on your current weather conditions. I guess there's different music and visuals that change depending on how things are around you. Pretty neat, I'll have to bookmark it for when it gets warmer outside.
If you want a smart way to back up your music collection through iTunes, I came across this, which seems like a brilliant way to do it. I've got just shy of 80 GB of mp3's, I need to keep that shit backed up!
Here's a pretty funny article about ten movies that went horribly, horribly wrong. I can only admit to seeing two of the ten, and I'll let you guess which ones those might be.
Further proof that computer people have waaay too much time on their hands.
Can anybody tell me what the fuck is going on here?
You know, I don't know what I can post that will compete with that, so I'm gonna call it a newspost. I won't be back next week because I will be out of town, but the comic will be up. Don't worry.
