posted by BobPosted by Bob on January 20, 2006: Hooray! We finally get to see the show! Well, almost. I think the crew looks good in this one, but I feel bad because it looks like I cheaped out on the backgrounds. I wanted it to look like a dark club, because that's where Rollins visits. Small dark clubs and schools. So that's what I was hoping this would look like. At least I drew a sort of detailed building, right?

Work still continues on the new Meinzer/Dahlstrom joint. We still don't have a set date yet, but watch this site and Aikida for more information as it comes along.

If you know anything about me, it's that I love me some Mythbusters. I think it's easily the best show on tv. So you can bet I was quite excited when I found this, which has a bunch of videos of failed Mythbusters experiments. I imagine these are on the DVDs, so if you want to buy them for me feel free.

And if you can get Kari to deliver them to me personally, I will owe you my soul.

I found this... Apparently cd-r's don't last as long as you'd think. I used to burn cd's all the time after I had downloaded them. But now I've pretty much stayed digital. Between my hard drives and my iPod, the only time I burn cd's is when I'm burning them for people.

Here's a fantastic site that has a bunch of Commodore 64 games to play for free. You don't need to download anything either, they run on java...or something. But yeah! They work. And look at all those versions of Boulder Dash!

Want a review of the first ever Nintendo Power? Sure you do. God, I can remember loving that magazine so much. I read that issue so many times, which goes to prove one thing.

Kids are stupid.

Songtapper is a great site that lets you tap the rhythm of a song on your spacebar, and it tells you what song it was. I tried "Smells Like Teen Spirit" for some reason and it got it. Worth a look, anyway.

Is this for real? I don't know, it seems too staged and obvious to me. I suppose it could be. Anyone know?

And finally, I leave you with this game, Baby Chipper. Yes, it's pretty much what you'd expect it to be. And I love it. Back in a week, gang.

It looks like there's not going to be a "Steve's Birthday" comic this year. (It's today, and the arc doesn't wrap up for a couple weeks yet) In all honesty though, I don't see where else we could have gone with that one anyway. But still, I figured I'd point it out, if for no other reason than to point out that today is my birthday. See you next week.
