Posted by Bob on January 6, 2006: Finally, we are given a look inside Buford's Gas and Slop Bucket. Does it look like you expected? I'm happy with how the place turned out, but looking back on it I wish I had added some sort of texture to the floor. Ah well, hindsight is 20/20, right? It's kind of a trade off though, because I think panel 13 is the best Jessie has ever looked. I like drawing her surprised, heh.
So, since Fenris has announced it on his site, I suppose I can reveal the big news to the people that read Think Tank but not Aikida. (And if you don't, you really should. Aikida has always been a great comic.) Fenris is starting a new comic, but this time he's only writing it. He needs an artist. So, I will be taking that part of the job. Yep, I'll be the artist of a brand new webcomic! So, if you like my art here, you'll be able to see new stuff from me four times a week. My domination of the internet continues. If you don't like my art, well, at least Fenris is a good writer! Check Aikida for more updates...Fenris updates more than us, so that'll be the best place to get more info as time progresses. I'll post it here too, but I imagine since Fenris is the writer, he'll have more info to pass along.
Oh, and speaking of good comics, why hasn't anyone told me about VG Cats? I mean really, this is like a look at my mind's inner workings.
Let's start the links with some jackass snorting various things. I'm not sure why people do things like this, but hey, at least it gives me fodder to write about.
Haha, this guy is so busted. You at least have to give him credit for his creativity though. I mean, he could have easily like, followed her up the stairs or tripped around her or something. But he got the webcamera in on the action. Impressive. I also just love how the chair goes flying. Fantastic.
Here's a new fun game for you, it's called Whale Bounce. It's like lots of games I link to...set the elevation and power, and see how far you can launch that mother fucker. I love them.
Weird, I'm linking to something from CNN. But it's funny! Anderson Cooper's look at 2005's internet celebrities! Awesome! Who could forget the Star Wars kid? Or the awkward sports caster? And of course, the Numa Numa dancer.
It should be no secret that Steve and I both hate Bill O'Reilly. Hate hate hate him. So let me tell you, it warmed my little black heart to see this video. David Letterman takes him apart. And we couldn't be happier!
Ever wonder how HP's technical support is? Well, wonder no more. Just read this. They really dropped the ball on that one.
Ever wonder what the Matrix highway scene/Mythbusters test area looks like? Here it is. Yep, exciting stuff.
And with that, I will call it a post. I've got comics to draw!
