posted by BobPosted by Bob on December 30, 2005: Hey all. New comic is up, as always. I'm starting to get the hang of drawing Steve's car. I actually drew it again in panel 1 instead of just copying and pasting it from the last comic. That's what I was gonna do, too. In my quick layout for the comic I just had blocked it in and wrote "paste" on there. After I printed up the borders (I make the panel borders in Photoshop and then print them on 11x17 paper and draw from there,) I realized my ink was smearing and I needed a new cartridge. So this comic's borders are actually done by hand instead. Anyway, I had the blank boxes there and I was just like "I'm better than this!" So I drew the car out again. I think I made up for it by copying and pasting the last panel, heh.

Now, I know you're wondering just what a place called "Buford's Gas and Slop Bucket" has to eat. I guess you'll just have to come back next week to find out!

Yeah, that's just about the best tease I can write.

Let's start the links today with my new personal hero: Fred Marshall, aka the King of CamKaraoke! THIS is why webcams were invented! You can also see him do When Doves Cry here, which might be his best.

It seems like every week I'm linking to some other Family Guy clip. This week will be no different. Here's a very Peter Griffin Christmas. Awesome!

So, this news story says the Pope resembled a "clean shaven father Christmas." I dunno, looking at that picture, I'd say he resembled EVIL INCARNATE. He is one scary man.

Here's some Lego as art. I could never build anything but NES characters and square cars with those damn things.

If anyone was interested in seeing the differences in size of all the recent video game systems, here's a good comparison image. God damn that Revolution is tiny.

All right, that's really all I've got this week. Kind of a short post, I know. Maybe I'll have more for you next week. Until then? Courage.

I don't mean I gave up and stopped playing, or sold it for credit. I mean I lost my temper and bent it in half. Seriously. Folded in half, then folded over again. If I had a cam, I'd post a pic. Anyway, seeing as this is the second in the series that has ended up in this exact same condition, I think I'm going to stay away from that series for awhile. I've been playing it for years, and I can never find a setting where it just feels like a fair game with the cpu. Anyway, just thought I'd share that with you, if only to fill my weekly newspost requirement.

That's all for now. Drive carefully this weekend, (we don't exactly have readers to spare, you know) and see you next week.
