Over the Hills and Far Away

Posted by Bob on December 16, 2005: I'll give you one guess as to which panel took the longest to draw. Don't think too hard now. Outside of that one panel, I actually inked this whole thing with a brush instead of a pen like I normally do. It's still a little shakey, but I'm still just learning. Give me some time, I'll get the hang of it. Hey, I got adventurous and at least drew the outside of Steve's car. That's gotta count for something, eh? EH?!?!

Oh, I hope this makes sense. The cars don't just appear magically; in panel 7 they're going up a hill and encounter all the cars at the other end of it. Steve assured me that it looked like that, but being the insecure artist asshole that I am, I had to just make it clear. Steve wrote it as "Steve stops, and we suddenly see they've turned a corner and are now in the back of a sea of cars," but I liked my idea better, heh.

I've been a wrestling fan all my life. I know we all have a bad name. And you know what? It's people like this that give us that bad name. IT'S STILL REAL TO ME, DAMMIT! What a douchebag.

Well, I found another version of an old NES theme redone. As seems the norm, it is from Super Mario Bros. This time however, it's on an eleven string bass. Pretty neat.

I'm sure you all know that I hate kids. I also like watching people pull retarded pranks on eachother. So of course, I would like this video, in which two children are more than likely scarred for life. Ah, good times.

Here's another "guide the mouse to the end" game. As always, I can't promise that there's not some jumpy outy thing in this one. But if there is and you get fucking scared, then at least you have something to pass on to your friends.

Want to learn how to use a light saber and take out those floaty things Luke had to take out when he was learning to use the force? Then I have the game for you. Take out the orb things and deflect lasers. What more could a wannabe Jedi want?

He wasn't sure it was obvious enough, and even went as far as changing the dialogue in the comic a bit. I assured him it wasn't necessary. Just in case, I had the title reference it even further, which should be enough to get the point across. I now consider the matter closed.

So, Aikida recently reported a huge boost in viewers. (Well, Fenris reported it, not Aikida, but you know what I mean.) This boost just happened to occur on the day that Colossus made a special appearance in his comic. Coincidence? I think not.
