 Posted by Bob on September 16, 2005: New comic's up here. Steve has asked me to explain that in the first panel we are looking at Bob's arm from the side, so we're kinda looking at his elbow. There is some foreshortening going on, so that's why it looks bigger than normal. Anyway. This comic marks probably the first time I've ever drawn a decent car. Well, maybe passable is more like it. I can NOT draw cars very well, as my past will attest to. Oy. That thing is so terrible.
So, I've linked to videos like this before, but never this one specifically. These types of things always amaze me...it's like watching a living video game character. Not quite sure what's up with the homoerotic two man pushup thing halfway in though. I know it's a show of strength and balance and such, but it's really goofy looking. But then again, I can only do like, one pushup, so who am I to talk?
Here's a neat video of G.W. vs Cheney. Just a goofy flash animation fight, but it's really well done, I think. There's only so much you can do with Flash, but I think these guys did a good job getting a lot out of the program.
Speaking of Cheney, hows about some heckling? What we don't see is the secret service catching that guy and beating the piss out of him for the next three hours. Ah well. He didn't die in vain, at least he made me laugh. Well, I didn't quite LAUGH, but more or less smiled that smile you do right before you laugh. Although it wasn't a big smile or anything. So, he died for almost a kind of smile, I guess. Thanks, random casualty.
*Sigh.* I wish I could dance. I think my favorite part may be the big black dude in the audience who starts rocking out too. That's just great.
Woo hoo! More Hannibal Lechter! That's just fantastic. I always wanted to know more about his past. If I remember, Harris touched on it a bit in the book Hannibal, but not enough for me. Hannibal is such an interesting character, you just need to know more about him.
What kind of a person would I be if I didn't post the first screenshots of Metal Gear Solid 4? Not a very good one, I guess. Not sure how long after MGS2 this takes place, but I gotta wonder why Snake's so old looking. I'm digging the little mustache though.
