posted by BobPosted by Bob on June 3, 2005: The new comic can be found right about here. It's funny, whenever I am working on these things, I always think of something to mention in the post when I write it. Of course, when post time comes, I forget every damn thing I was going to mention about the comic. Let's see...Um, I sent the comic to Steve before I put the SRV on comic Steve's shirt, so I had to go back and add it in, then resend it. So, there's that. The comic is like 208k, which, while usual as of late, is still kinda big as far as most webcomics go. If anyone has any advice on how to keep the filesize down and the quality good, I'd appreciate it.

So, here's some links for you all. First, we have this, which isn't quite as good as shrink wrapping everything in an office, or putting pictures of people's heads on everything, but it's not a bad thing to do anyway.

I'm a pepper, you're a pepper, wouldn't you like to be a pepper too? One word folks. Yikes. That guy's fucking SCARY. He should go into movies as the psycho killer guy. They wouldn't have to spend any money on makeup for the dude or anything. Seriously, he's creepy.

This is pretty funny, and totally the thing I would do if I had a second steering wheel and Amanda was driving. Course, I don't have a second steering wheel, and I drive most of the time, so if I were to do that, I'd just end up dead. So I suppose it's not a little trick I should try.

Well, here's an...interesting XBox mod. I don't know why anyone would actually WANT that. But apparently, someone does, since there's already 13 bids. I think I'd rather just use the extra money it would cost and spend it on games.

Speaking of games, I picked up the new Mortal Kombat:Deception. (Well, it's older now, but it's new to me.) Jason said it best in that you can tell they poured their hearts and souls into this game, and it definately shows. I've never been too into Mortal Kombat, but so far this one is fucking phenomenal. I got it used for 25 bucks, and let me say it's definately worth that much. I don't think it would sway anyone who's not into fighters to get into fighters, (I.E. Steve, don't bother.) but if you've ever had any passing interest in fighters, you should check it out, cause it's a really good game.

Back to the links. George W. Bush sure knows how to get people fired up, no? Someone needs to track that kid down and pay him. That's just gold.

New Star Wars kid! Well, kinda. I think this is a little bit more pathetic though.

This is just great. You gotta love crazy artists.

And finally, now you too can learn how to dance with Napoleon Dynamite. That's all for me folks. See you in a week.

posted by BobPosted by Steve on June 3, 2005: I don't have tons to add, but I just wanted to share this. It's a great read, especially the part about cheap difficulty. Check it out. (oh, and since the cat's been slashdotted, maybe click an advertisement while you're there.)

While you're there, this is worth a read as well. Now, you might think the guy's just paranoid, but Jason has been ranting about this same thing for quite some time now. And since I consider Jason to be Gamer-Wan Kenobi (seriously, dude knows more about games than you know about anything), I think there's definitely cause for concern.

Anyway, that's all for now. See you next week.
