Posted by Bob on February 18, 2005: I told Captain Steve he should have the first post today, mainly so he could explain the comic. So hopefully, mine is on the bottom today. I figure this is either a comic you'll think is either A. Clever, or B. Retarded. So, either way, there ya go.
Hello? 1983? Yeah, I'd like to buy a souvenir. I mean really. I like video games and all, but that's just ridiculous. I never could get into Pac Man though. It was always too hard for me. I doubt I ever got past level 2 or 3. I'd always eat the power pellets too early, so I'd have a quarter of the dots gone, but no power pellets left, and the ghosts would rape me. That was when I was a kid. Now? Well, I still eat 'em too early, and I have to contend with Blinky and the three other fiends with only half of the dots left. Pac Man is just too advanced for me, I guess.
I post lots of links to videos here, but I don't think I often post videos of cars crashing. Problem solved!
And here's some Sonic Tetris. It's not terribly different than Tetris at first, but after a little bit you'll see how it's specifically Sonic.
If you don't know by now, I've been a big wrestling fan all my life. I don't think I've ever posted any wrestling stuff since we've been doing this little thing, so here's an incredible shot. The most amazing part is that Paul London (the cat getting knocked out) didn't suffer super terrible injuries from this. That guy is a machine. Oh, this site has some dirty stuff on it, so that may not be safe for work.
Speaking of wrestling, have I ever linked to Wrestlecrap? This is a great, great site. Definately one of my favorites. RD updates every Thursday, and the site is all about the worst gimmicks and angles in wrestling. Even if you're not a wrestling fan, you have to check the site, mainly to see some ideas that some promoter at some point in time thought was a good idea. Some of the things are just so surreal, I think "this can't be real," as I read it, but then I realize I saw the character debut on Raw or something like that. It's just crazy.
The website for Sin City is live. Let's just consider this required viewing, folks. It's flat out a moving comic book. I can't wait. Oh, if you're like me, you'll dig the song in the trailer, so here's a link for the song, and here's a link for the band.
Well crew, that's it for me. I'm outta things. So, I'm going to grab some food, since I came home and started writing my post, and have not eaten yet. It's time for that. Back in a week.
