Posted by Steve on January 7, 2005: Think Tank, in all it's form and splendor functions solely on one principle, I upload the comic. To prove me wrong would undo reality and everything that is. Or at least, would leave you without a comic. Unless you trust Bob's ability to successfully manipulate html. (I wouldn't.)

Anyway, the comic might seem a bit dated now, but it was actually written when the game in question was released. It just got lost in the Christmas shuffle.

An update on Fable: Go away so I can get back to it. I've been playing it constantly over the last week. I know a lot of people were disappointed that it didn't deliver all the stuff they said it would, (I didn't follow any of it, but I hear that some sort of Xbox Live puppy delivery service was promised.) but I didn't pay any attention to that shit, so it's no big deal to me. I guess the cat said it was going to be the greatest RPG ever or something, but whatever. I also don't generally play RPG's, so maybe my standards for a good one aren't too high. All I know is that I've had a lot of fun playing it.

Since I've been playing so much Fable, I've had little (read: no) time for Prince of Persia or Animal Crossing. Bob picked up Prince though. Maybe he can tell you more about it.

Posted by Bob on January 7, 2005: Hey guys, I'm back. Not that I went anywhere, but still. Last week, I was playing Scene It and Karaoke Revolution, so by the time I made it to my good ol' eMac, I saw Captain Steve had already updated the site, so we both kinda figured "Ah, hell with it." I'll talk about last week's comic later on, but I'll talk about this week's comic now. It's up, obviously. You may notice that the background is white instead of black like all the other comics have been. I figured it's a new year, why not try something new? Other than that, I don't think there's anything special to talk about art wise with it, and since I didn't write it, well, then I've got nothing.

I was gonna mention a few things about last week's comic last week, but since I wasn't around, here's what I was gonna say. Bob's got a regular swat team shield, but it's been spraypainted, so that's why it looks kinda funny. I figured it was something Bob would do. Also, as you can see, I really dig that sun-like background in panel three, (well, the second small panel,) cause that's been used many times. I like that color look! And finally, you may notice that one of the customers has been seen before, returning things, no less. So, yeah. That's that. On to the links!

First things first, I'll plug myself. And not in a dirty way. I updated my Deviantart page. I should probably update my website, but DA is so much easier and quicker to do. There's like, six new things up there. Maybe seven, I don't know. Maybe more. It all depends on if you've visited my site or not, I suppose.

So, check this out. Thieves stole a lady's handbag. No big deal, right? It happens all the time. So, they got some money and a remote. Okay, some people may keep a remote in their purse, maybe it's a garage door opener. Or, maybe it controls the lady's frickin' brain! That's crazy! I didn't even know people had things like that. She's a cyborg, cool!

I've often said if I weren't an artist (although that's debateable) I would be in music in some way. I think I'd play guitar. I know I can still learn, but I kill my time with enough crap as it is. That, and I don't have a guitar, nor do I want to buy one. I think my brother gave me one...Whether I still have it, I can't say. Anyway, I'm going off track here. The point is that anyone can play an instrument, and here's proof. Not bad for a four year old.

You've probably heard the Minibosses by now, cause I'm sure we've linked to them by now. If you haven't, check 'em out now. They're cool. Moving on from there, we have Metroid Metal, which again I'm sure we've linked to. I found this other cool site today called Sonic Covers, which, is as you would expect, rock covers of Sonic the Hedgehog songs. Really neat stuff. I like that the kids that are my age that grew up with Sega and Nintendo are now covering these songs. It's so cool.

Here's an awesome school paper to check out. I can't say if it's true or not, cause I don't know any of these cats, but it's a funny read nonetheless.

Here is one of the coolest things ever. Am I going to do this? You bet. I think maybe I'll do Luigi instead. Just to make it my own, I guess.

Check out this hit. That's why hockey is cool. If this was basketball or football, the dude would have been celebrating for ten minutes after that hit.

But on the plus side, basketball gets you things like this. Yeah, that's Michael Jordan's house. Not a bad result for playing a game, huh?
