posted by BobPosted by Bob on November 19, 2004: I'm usually at home on weekends, but sometimes, I'm not around. This last weekend, I was seeing Stephen Lynch and Mitch Hedberg. Really good show, if they're in your area I'd recommend checking it out. So, Amanda and I saw them, and were together all weekend, singing our asses off in Karaoke Revolution Volume 3. Amanda however, is borderline narcoleptic, so she falls asleep quick all the time. The chick once fell asleep at Great America. So, it leaves me with time to kill, so in that time I drew what I believed to be the next comic. I didn't expect anything to be amiss when I checked my email as soon as I finished drawing it, but there's an email there from Steve saying "Two new comics in this one. One at the end of the current arc, one in the spot right after this one we just posted." So of course, I had to draw another new comic. And friends, this is what happens when you put Steve and Jason behind a comic. Jason thought it would be funny, but apparently he forgot about just how fucked my imagination is. Silly rabbit. Anyway, MY story got put on hold for this one, but as far as I know, we'll be back on track next week.

I would also like to add that this week's comic is kind of light on backgrounds, mainly because I don't know what the hell Game Rave looks like outside of the counter. I blame Jason. That being said, I am atrocious when it comes to drawing cars. Moving on.

You may or may not remember I posted this last week. Well, a couple days later, I get an email from someone named Vance (Dude, I don't know who you are. Heh, sorry!) telling me that it's completely fake. I figured I'd post it here so no one takes it as fact. And now we know, kids. And knowing is half the battle.

What is the other half of the battle, anyway? Doing? They were never really clear.

You know, I don't know if I'm comfortable with a hot Ronald McDonald. Thankfully, there's no facepaint or crap. Just red hair and a clown suit, in case you were curious.

This is kinda funny. At least, I think it is. Could you imagine if your job title was "Bill Gates' Spam Sorter?" Jesus, what a drag that must be. That's like, go home and shoot yourself in the head bad.

I'm all about child tasering. Tasering? Tazering? Whatever. I'm all about child stun gunning.

In the same vein as Subservient Chicken comes Virtual Bartender! I'm not sure what the chicken does, cause well, he's not cute like the bartender. Amanda and I were playing with this for a while last night, and here's some good words that lead to fun things: Jump, Banana, Shoes, Suck, Rub, Kiss, Kiss guy, Fight, Love, Sleep, Shirt, Cartwheel, Beer.com, Wet, Sing, Cowgirl, Talk, Splits, Shake, Rock, Be a Man, Pillow Fight, Tongue, Hummer, Think, Model, Riverdance, and Magic. That's all the stuff we came up with. Don't worry, it's not dirty or anything; All you'll see is a little thong action, and some girls kiss. Nothing big. Oh, and she won't do anything dirty, we tried.

Well gang, that's really all I've got in me this week. So, I'll call it here and come back in seven.

This comic is pretty much a transcript of a conversation I had with Jason, when he revealed that he was putting off buying Metal Gear Solid 3 until after Christmas. I find that hard to believe. "Why?" you ask? Well, have a good look at this. That should pretty much explain it.

Oh, and I knew at the time I sent Bob this comic that he probably already had this week's original drawn. Life has it's little bonuses.

Oh, early impressions on Metroid Prime 2: pretty good. As usual, I wouldn't put a lot of stock in all the stupid review scores. That's not to say it's a bad game, it's just that so far it's not much different than the first, really. I mean, weapons, planets, and enemies are different, and some other things I don't want to give away, but nothing that makes you go "wow" like the first one did. Then again, I'm still pretty early on in the game, so take that for what it's worth.

That's about all for now. See you guys next week.
