Night Trap

Posted by Bob on October 8, 2004: This week's comic was all Steve. I had nothing to do with the writing at all, surprisingly. Not much to report on this comic. I finally decided what Colossus' "default" face oughta be. Dunno why I didn't think of that before. Maybe I'll have him in a different costume each comic. Colossus has had enough costume changes over the years where I could sustain that. We'll see.

It's stuff like this that makes me sad to be an artist...I mean, it just seems like a lot of bullshit to me. If my parents had given me a big canvas and a lot of paint when I was a kid, you know what I would have churned out? The same exact things she did. And if you were given one? Well, you would have painted the same exact thing she did too. Give a kid a canvas and lots of paint, they're all gonna do the same thing.

Ya know, I scour the internet looking for stories to post each week with the comic, and I find some things that are just to gross or weird to post. I almost didn't post this one, but I woulda felt bad if I hadn't.

Oh what the hell. These people need to just realize one thing: It's just a movie. Read it, learn it, repeat it. Thank you.

Speaking of the forum, I've still got some books that I printed up if anyone wants 'em. Post in there if you're interested, or send me a note. It's more or less a "Best of" Think Tank type of thing; black and white. You want to be cool like Kevin Smith, right? Well, he's got one! I'm thinking just a couple bucks to cover shipping.

I just found this site that calls itself the Olympics of Drunken Embarrasment. I know at least one picture had a naked female ass in it, so you may want to wait till you get home. Anyway, there's some funny stuff up there, and it shows that if you're gonna drink, don't drink so much that you pass out. Idiots.

Led Zeppelin is EVIL! People have been talking about the backwards messages crap for-fucking-ever, and it always interests me cause half the time, I hear what is supposedly the evil message. I love this stuff.

Posted by Steve on October 8, 2004: So, yeah, this one is mine. I think it was funnier in my head than it was when I finally wrote it down. Oh well, they can't all be winners.

Good Charlotte has a new cd out this week. (And no, I won't link to them, or their cd.) Well, actually, they have 2. The "Life" cd and the "Death" cd. The difference, you ask? One goddamn track. That's right, if you're a GC fan, lube up, cause they're gonna stick it right up your ass on this one. Want all the new tracks? Cough up for an extra album, consumer whore.

Queen Latifah has a new album out. Surprisingly, it's an old fashioned vocalist album. Even more surprisingly, she can actually sing. Worth checking out.
