Posted by Bob on October 1, 2004: People have hated MTV for years, that should come as no surprise there. Maybe it's because as they grow older, they don't feel the need to turn to the channel for advice on what's cool or in style. Or maybe it's because they give news reports that sound like the one written in today's comic. I wrote the first draft of this comic based around the first little bit of dialogue contained within it; as god as my witness, that's almost word for word what I heard Loder say. I was fine with it all until the last bit where he said Green Day was the Clash/Ramones of our generation. That infuriated me. So, because of that, we have today's comic. Originally, I wrote it with Kurt Loder realizing what he does for a living, (Pimping out shit like Good Charlotte,) and hanging himself. Then I sent it to Steve, and he turned it into something similar to what we have now; it was the same comic except without Colossus. So, as soon as I had the comic all done, Steve sends me the revised version, which is officially the one up now. Incidentally, Colossus is on a spinner base, so he can turn. Why? Cause Bob was in the break room and it was the only way I could get the damn comic to work right. So that's why.
Incidentally, Kurt Loder is sixty years old. He was born on May 5, 1945. What the hell is he still doing on MTV? John Norris is forty five years old too. Cracks me up that the main MTV personality for the longest time ever is older than my parents.
So, it seems Mel Brooks is working on a sequel to Spaceballs. On one hand, I'm psyched. On the other, sequels are always kinda tricky, and Mel's track record as of late hasn't been too hot. Whatever the case, I'm sure I'll see it.
We ain't found shit! Ah, I love that line.
And here's your video of a dumbass hurting himself. You;d think these sorta things would get old with me, but man would you be wrong.
This is totally nerdy, but it's cool. If you've ever wanted to take pictures from a kite, here's how you'd do it. Don't want to do that? Well, turn your dog into a camera then!
Check this out. That's something I'd absolutely LOVE to see.
And here's your weekly flash game. It'll probably bring back some memories for some people. It's pretty fun.
HOW have I never come across this site before? I know I shouldn't make fun of sad single people, and well, surprisingly, I won't. This site is very unintentionally (Or maybe it's intentionally) funny. You've gotta read some of these profiles.
Oh my god. Steve, I think you're a good writer and all, but do you suppose there's any way we can get this cat to write for us? Jesus, that's gotta be the funniest thing I've seen all week.
All right, maybe not THE funniest.
That's enough for me. Let's see if Steve's got anything. Back in a week.
