Posted by Steve on September 27, 2004: Hey everyone. Well, we've got things kind of set up here. A few things to note. Some of the little image links (the row of link buttons on the bottom of the page, the "posted by bob/steve" avatars, etc.) aren't gonna work. Once the domain name transfers over to the new host (should only take a few days tops) everything will be fine again. Also, for the same reason, the forum is pretty much out of action for the time being. Also, you should probably just consider our email addresses out of service for a few days. Again, once the domain name changes over, all will be well again. But for now, the archive is up and running, and we'll be able to update on Friday, so just bear with us and pardon our dust while we get things finished up, and I'll make another post in a few days once everything's back in business.

Posted by Bob on August 27, 2004: Hey gang. If today's comic looks a little bit rushed, that's because it is. I literally finished it about an hour before posting. I work at an Office Depot, and we're right in the middle of back to school times. When the week is over, I'll have close to fifty hours, so that's why. Things *should* be starting to slow down this next week, and the week after that should be more back to normal. Anyway, I don't want you to read this as me bitching and saying "Whaaaah, I don't have enough time to do the comic, so there won't be one next week," Cause that's not the case. There'll be a comic next week, barring any unforseen computer mishaps. I've already started drawing it out!
Oh, sorry about the look of that first panel. Due to the limitations of the .png file, it kinda screws up real pictures like that. Nothing I can do about it.
Here's a little note about this week's comic: The one you see now (Or just saw, or will see soon, I hope) is actually the third draft of it. The original was one of mine, which can be seen here. It's ok, but has no true punchline. Which is just about how all my comics work. They start off strong, but just kinda ramble on and on into nothingness. But, I liked the idea, so I sent it to Steve. He said the same thing, "Good idea, but it doesn't have a real punchline." But thankfully, Steve is usually able to turn my go nowhere ideas into something, and he did just that, turning that script into this. I thought it was good, and thought that's what we were gonna do. Then, Steve sent me yet another version of the comic, which is the one that's posted now. I think it worked out well, turning a decent comic into a pretty good one. So, there you have it. The evolution of a Think Tank script. It's pretty common that it works that way. Script, rewrite, comic. So, there's that, in case anyone was curious.
So, if you're gonna post on a forum, (Any forum is fine, but it'd be really cool if you posted in ours, hint hint) make sure you watch this little movie. See, I educate, and entertain. The Think Tank=Edutainment!
I don't know if I've mentioned that there's a new Batman cartoon coming out or not. If I haven't, then theres a new Batman cartoon starting soon. And if I have mentioned it, then here's the intro to the new Batman cartoon that I mentioned a while ago. The character design is a bit different from what we've been accustomed to with Bruce Timm and all, but I seriously dig it. The rastafarian Joker is neat, and Mr. Freeze looks awesome.
And speaking of Batman, merry Christmas! I've got the first set, and it's just great. And don't forget Big Blue. I know I mentioned these before, but I do so again now because there's solid release dates. Rock! no....RAWK!
And here's your creepy story of the week.
So, on Steve's insistence of getting me back onto XBox Live, I picked up ESPN NFL2k5. It was seventeen dollars, what the hell. Anyway, it's a pretty good game. It's kind of easy, but the presentation is just incredible. I *think* it's the only football game I own, outside of Mutant League Football, which I might add, is a game that's gone far too long without an upgrade. Anyhow, If you've got twenty bucks to spare, check it out. Also, I read that NHL2k5 and NBA2k5 are both going to release at twenty bucks. So, if you are on XBox Live, feel free to check Steve or I out; ThinkTankBob and ThinkTankSteve, of course.
That's all I've got. Back in a week!
