posted by BobPosted by Bob on June 18, 2004: I guess Steve figured we haven't done a comic with just Jessie talking to the Ticketlord machine, so, here ya go. This comic went through a bit of a rewrite at the zero hour. Steve had come up with something a little different, but deemed it too similar to last week's comic. So, we decided to come up with something new, and this is what we came up with. If you ask Steve nicely, maybe he'll post the alternate version. If he has it anyway. Cause I don't. Hell, I'm missing probably around 15 comics from the archive on my hard drive. And I draw the damn things. I've got no clue what happened to them. I'm sure I did not delete them, and I don't think there's Goblins out there trying to take over my computer. Maybe it was when I transferred crap from my old USB drive to the Firewire one...Well, either that or the CPU goblins.

So, since there's not a trailer up yet for Blade: Trinity, I guess this little clip is gonna have to do for now. I loved the first two Blade flicks, and I can't wait to see the new one. I have a feeling this is just a rough cut or a pre-post-production scene, cause it kind of jumps around a bit, and the effects aren't as well done as they should be. Still, it should be a good movie. Better than Catwoman, anyway.

I bought an Eyetoy the other day. Why? You tell me, cause I really don't know why. I saw it on display at Best Buy and figured what the hell. I didn't want one before this trip, because I thought they looked really retarded. Turns out I was wrong, it's really fun. I got the one that comes with Play, and I bought Groove seperately with it. Groove is a dance/rhythm game that falls somewhere between Dance Dance Revolution and Samba de Amigo. And if you know anything about me, you know what a huge place in my cold black heart those two games occupy. Play is a collection of twelve minigames, and for the most part, they're really fun. There's a couple that just kinda suck, but what's good is really good. So my verdict is thumbs up. Eyetoy is really fun, and I can't wait to get it rockin' with three other people. Amanda, Bill, Jeanna, I'm looking at you! And now that I have an Eyetoy, I can get one of the games that support it in Create-a-Whatever mode and take a picture of my butt, and have a buttface character! Rock on!

At this point, I feel you have a good idea of my style of coloring. Check out a couple comics, then check out this comic I colored in...goodness, 1998 or 1999. It's not pretty, but I just wanted to post the link to show how far I've come with this crap. That was probably the first thing I'd ever really colored in Photoshop up to that point, and man does it show.

All right! A new movie from Trey Parker and Matt Stone? Count me in!

When Amanda and I were at Best Buy, I saw the greatest thing. Two goofy Goth/Cure kids. Or...something. I'm not quite sure what the hell they were. One of em had black eyeliner around both eyes and had a line going from the outer corner of each eye to the bottom of his face. Of COURSE they both had spiked bracelets and necklaces. And of course they had the whole black outfit and fishnets thing going on. And the necessary "I'm not crazy, but the voices in my head think I am" t-shirt. I think maybe we upset them as we walked past, cause we were laughing pretty good. Ah well, we gave them something to write angry poetry about, I guess. In the immortal words of Butters "To be honest, I'd rather be a crying little pussy than a faggy Goth kid. " Ahhh, how true, young Butters. How true.

I wish I had something to draw. I've been in a rut lately. That is all.

posted by StevePosted by Steve on June 18, 2004: We've got that new comic thing happening here. Although, we've also got a new comic happening here too. Perhaps an explanation is in order.

You see, once the comic was done, we (well, I) kinda thought it was too similar to the one we posted last week. So, we worked at it for a bit and came up with a different ending. Unfortunately, while I thought the new one was better, Bob thought the opposite. So eventually we said fuck it and decided to just post both versions. We figure you're bound to like at least one of them.

Well, I checked out the new Velvet Revolver and Beastie Boys CD's. They're both really good. Velvet Revolver sounds like just a good old fashioned rock album, which seems to be a rare thing these days. The new Beastie Boys sounds like, well, the Beastie Boys. It's one of the things I like about them. As Henry Rollins said about Slayer, the Beastie Boys are a group who's "sticking to their story." You put in the new Beastie Boys album and it sounds like an 80's hip hop record. That's their thing and they're staying with it. And in an era of metal bands putting out orchestral reworkings of their old stuff and pop singers passing themselves off as punk bands, I think you can't help but respect that. See you next week.
