See Dee?

Posted by Bob on March 24, 2002: I don't really have much to say about this one. It gave me so much trouble compared to the other strips up until now. It took about as long to do the last panel as it did the rest of the comic! And I still don't have a good handle on drawing Steve. I mean, why draw him when you can draw me, right? I think I got the font easier to read, but I lost some of the detail in the actual comic. I'll have to keep working on that...

Posted by Bob on March 31, 2004:Man, I sure wasn't too big on details back in the day, was I? The writing on these must have been really good, cause the art was just horrid. No wonder no one ever said anything about it! This comic gave me trouble because it wasn't the traditional 3/4/6 panel webcomic layout. The first panel was tacked on at the end as an after thought because I couldn't think of anything else to do to make it work. That's also why the last panel is kind of small. Actually, everything is kind of small. I still hadn't gotten a good grasp on getting the characters to a respectable size and being able to fit all the text in there at this point. In the first panel, Steve is supposed to be rolling his eyes, in case it's not clear.
