Through the Looking Glass

Posted by Bob on March 9, 2002: I can't believe how much better looking this one is than the first one! I changed up the way I drew it-I inked the whole thing digitally instead of by hand. I also went with a more "comic book-y" font, and I am pretty happy with it. This comic also marks the first appearance of Steve, who looks waaay too happy in the first panel. I had originally intended for this one to be longer than it is tall, but it just didn't work out as planned. Make sure that you see the computer monitor behind Bob-It's an Apple. Seeing as Steve and I are both Mac users, maybe someone at Apple will see this and send us free Mac supplies. At least, that's what I'm hoping for...

Posted by Bob on March 31, 2004: Well, it's been two years, and still no free supplies from Apple. Somehow, I don't think I should hold my breath. Steve sure looks awful in his first appearance, doesn't he? He's got a very...cryptkeeper-esque look going on in that first panel. I think the best part of this comic is the "BAM!" sound effect; I don't know why, but I'm happy with it. This is still one of my favorite comics in the archive.
